Presentation Library 4.0 has given guidance on the implementation of the optional “hover-over” functions for a number of ENC Features.

The reasoning again for this is to de-clutter our ECDIS display

Now go ahead and practice turning on and off light sectors and hovering over the different areas to see text appear.

(If you don’t see this happen, then your ECDIS is probably not up to date to Presentation Library 4.0!! OR you have one of the few manufacturers that don’t have this function.)
